The religious wedding can be translated into a wedding base on religion ceremonial rite .For some countries a religious wedding may be not so important but for Indonesian it has a very important rule .The Indonesian wedding must comply Indonesian marriage law number one year 1974.For couple getting married in Indonesia legally they must posses a religious wedding ceremony accordance with the religion ceremonial rites to include the document required by the religion offices.

There are five religions recognized by Indonesian government , those are Muslim,Catholic,Christian,Budhism, Hindu .Each of these religion conduct their wedding ceremony in different way,it is according to the their own ceremonial rite .The Government do not involve to the religious ceremonial rite . Every religious wedding ceremony will issue a a religious marriage certificate with it the couple may proceed to registering the marriage to registry office .
