Bali Legal Wedding
Most of the couple from all over the world is possible to get married legally in Bali as long as they fulfill the entire legal requirement requested by Indonesian government or Bali registry office .Indonesia is a composed by many cultural, ethnic and religion. There are 5 religion recognized by Indonesian government, those are: Christian, Catholic, Moeslim, Hinduism, Buddhism. Base on Indonesian marriage law Basically all the couple getting married in Bali and the ceremony is base on the rite of each religion followed and the registry officer only provide you the marriage registration service to record your marriage and issue the legal marriage certificate which are recognized by your country .Each country also has their own rule for getting married abroad so before you get married abroad or in Bali you must obtain the correct information from the trusted sources to include our wedding company in order your marriage certificate valid or recognized by your country .Bellow we provide some legal procedure to get married in Bali.bellow is the list of relgion recorgnized by Indonesian Goverment:
Christian.
Actually the Christian protestant is one but they devided themselves into some different church name ,most of the couple get marred in Christian will be served by GKPB or Gereja Kristen Protestant Bali or Bali Christian Church .This church similar as church of England ,Church of America for your church or religious wedding ceremony you need to prepare the following document :
Copy passport,Baptism certificate
Additional for Indonesian citizen , the couple must provide the delegation letter from the church addressed to church in Bali .
Catholic.
For catholic follower need to prepare the following :
Copy passport
Baptism certificate
Fill pre-nuptial course
Delegation letter addressed to Catholic church in Bali
Islam or Moeslim
The wedding ceremony for mulsim is conducted by Penghulu or head of Relgion affairs.The ceretificate issued called buku”Nikah”
Copy passport
Birth certificate
Certificate of non impediment for Foreigners only
Additional for Indonesian : Letter freedom of marriage ,marital status ( N1-N4)
Hindu
Hindu wedding is conducted by A pemangku or pendeta or Pedanda ( Priest )
Copy passport
Letter stating they Hindu
Buddhism
Buddhism Wedding carried out within the Budhis Temple or outside base on approval of Biksu.The document needed :
Copy passport /KTP

Australian Citizen
Copy passport ,birth certificate ,absolute divorce decree if relevant ,Certificate of non impediment issued by Australian consulate .Fill our wedding application form .Shoulder photo with size of 4 x 6 CM about 8 peaces ,it will be put on your marriage certificate
All paper works for Bali registry office will be assisted by Bali Shuka Wedding
We will assist you and take you to Australian Consulate .Fee for issuing the certificate of non impediment at Australian consulate must be payable in local currency and the exchange rate is subject to change without any prior notice
American Citizen

British Citizen
For British citizen has a different rule compare the above two countries .For British citizen live in UK, they must put a notification of marriage at General registration office in UK for at least 21 days and if no one impediment to this marriage then a certificate of non impediment of marriage will be issued .This letter need to brought down to Bali, your wedding organizer know what they should do next .so please contact us for further detail
